According to Wikipedia, a pearl is a hard object produced within the soft tissue (specifically the mantle) of a living shelled mollusk. Just like the shell of a mollusk, a pearl is made up of calcium carbonate in minute crystalline form, which has been deposited in concentric layers. The ideal pearl is perfectly round and smooth, but many other shapes of pearls (baroque pearls) occur. The finest quality natural pearls have been highly valued as gemstones and objects of beauty for many centuries, and because of this, the word pearl has become a metaphor for something very rare, fine, admirable, and valuable.

We are counting days before the calendar hits the month of June. Jewelry enthusiasts are once again excited for this month’s birthstone, pearl. Pearls are timeless stone pieces that suites almost any occasion. Having said that, we’ve seen a lot of women wear these elegant stones almost everyday and pair it with almost any kind of clothes. Amongst the stones there is, pearl is the most flexible and most wearable.

When we hear the word pearl, what comes our mind are usually two adjectives; timeless and elegant. Those adjectives mean a lot to every woman because that defines their physical beauty. Just like pearls, a woman’s everlasting sophistication resorts to so much admiration from men and women alike. Bearing that in mind, women’s confidence are fueled by those flowery words which make them bloom even longer.

Having timeless and sophisticated beauty physically does not only speak of a woman’s worth; it also shows how a woman wants something great, they do not allow themselves to settle for anything less. Beauty and character paired together produces empowered woman. Confident, mature, well-dressed, well-mannered, audacious and what have you – the woman of today!
Pearl is the perfect ornament for your everyday wardrobe. Of course, you have all the liberty not to follow that; I just want to stress how flexible pearl is.
Maxim already released their hot 100, the list of the Most Beautiful Women of the World (See also top 10 lists), and this time even cartoon characters and murder suspects got a spot.
So what does it take for these girls to be included in the list? Was it their fashion style, the designer clothes and shoes they wear, the fashion jewelry they model? Perhaps their character and the air that surrounds them? Nevertheless, I’m listing not the conventional stars you would probably expect, I’m going to list the most bizarre faces, not the face really, but the character, say a murder suspect that got in, just kidding.
Zooey Deschanel. A very talented lady, she can sing, dance somehow, act, host and play a ukulele. Currently on the hit series New Girl and on Maxim’s 41st Most Beautiful Women of the World
Elisha Cuthbert. Model and Hollywood star. Award winning actress, FHM and Maxim’s regular, and this year on the 34th spot of the hottest and Most Beautiful Women of the World
Megan Fox. Transformers lead star Mikaela Banes, all the movies she hit a spot is surrounded with controversy some with good remarks while almost all movies are given a bad rating. Nevertheless she’s beautiful thus Maxim’s number 8th among 100 Most Beautiful Women of the World.
Jennifer Lawrence. Award winning actress, Hunger Games lead star Katniss Everdeen and X-men First Class Mystique is on the 6th spot on Maxim’s List of 100 Most Beautiful Women of the World.
Bar Rafaeli. What is the great way to end a list? Well of course seeing who got the first spot, and that is none other than Israeli model Bar Rafaeli who started modeling at a very young age, well month, 8 months to be exact when she first appeared in a commercial for babies. At fifteen she was already walking on the catwalk wearing Castro and Pilpel, a few years later she was seen on the covers of Maxim of course, Elle France edition and GQ’s Italy before she grace the 2007 cover of Sports Illustrated.
Are you a big fan of jewelry display events such as gathering of jewelers and jewelry enthusiasts, either local or international? Yes, we do have those in common – so that means you’re in for a business dream. Well, fat lot’s I am here to aid you in setting up your jewelry display booth. (See also top 10 lists of booth display)
To start with, planning the layout of the jewelry display booth
There are major rules according to my experience in a creative booth outcomes and that is the main display area, the featured mid-level prices for products. The two should be divided into different mini-collections using a stack-able trays or even the jewelry display itself. This tray makes it handy for visitors or prospect customers to pick up assortment for a much closer look and it’s easy for them to consult too.
Important avenues for Price Tags and Hang Tags
This is a more vital than any other things to prepare in advance in order to set your mind free and avoid being stress before the show starts. Here are my tips, if the hang tags for items are a little bit bulky – be best to put it secure it somewhere to remind you that it should be put before the show starts. Price Tags should be printed in a professional way as to not just intimidating customers.
Remember the main comparison: Quantity vs. Quality
At some shows, you will do better having a ton of stuff in your jewelry display booth. And, perhaps ironically, at some shows you will do better if you have a very tightly curates selection of earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Try to have some sort of plan for both scenarios, so you have the flexibility to change gears if need be.
The Rule of Polishing and Neat
All your necklaces, earrings, and bracelets should be clean and all metal parts should be polished, unless part of your design aesthetic involves tarnished metals. Also, dust off and wipe down all your display trays, display cases, tables, chairs, etc.
Always do a dry run for the show
If this is your first show, or you have changed your display drastically, you may consider doing a dry run of your jewelry show display. You can do this with or without your jewelry booth tent, although if you are using one, it would be a good idea to set it up so you see how much space you are dealing with.
This will allow you to experiment with table layout, individual necklace, bracelet, and earring layouts, color balance, and give you an idea of what potential customers see as they are walking down the aisle. You should also play with different configurations of your chosen display items. Sometimes what you think you need, and what it actually looks like in a tent or a small table is two completely different things! Better to figure it out before the show than be left in a panic the morning of.
