According to Wikipedia, a pearl is a hard object produced within the soft tissue (specifically the mantle) of a living shelled mollusk. Just like the shell of a mollusk, a pearl is made up of calcium carbonate in minute crystalline form, which has been deposited in concentric layers. The ideal pearl is perfectly round and smooth, but many other shapes of pearls (baroque pearls) occur. The finest quality natural pearls have been highly valued as gemstones and objects of beauty for many centuries, and because of this, the word pearl has become a metaphor for something very rare, fine, admirable, and valuable.
We are counting days before the calendar hits the month of June. Jewelry enthusiasts are once again excited for this month’s birthstone, pearl. Pearls are timeless stone pieces that suites almost any occasion. Having said that, we’ve seen a lot of women wear these elegant stones almost everyday and pair it with almost any kind of clothes. Amongst the stones there is, pearl is the most flexible and most wearable.
When we hear the word pearl, what comes our mind are usually two adjectives; timeless and elegant. Those adjectives mean a lot to every woman because that defines their physical beauty. Just like pearls, a woman’s everlasting sophistication resorts to so much admiration from men and women alike. Bearing that in mind, women’s confidence are fueled by those flowery words which make them bloom even longer.
Having timeless and sophisticated beauty physically does not only speak of a woman’s worth; it also shows how a woman wants something great, they do not allow themselves to settle for anything less. Beauty and character paired together produces empowered woman. Confident, mature, well-dressed, well-mannered, audacious and what have you – the woman of today!
